We are happy to announce our upcoming workshop with Helen Verran about “Mapping and Labbing”. We’ll discuss carteography and datavisualisation as story-telling methods in the social sciences: What stories do they tell? In what ways are these relevant? And for what? What is the difference between maps and datavisualisations? What are the similarities? And what kind of space is a lab for spatial visualisation?
